Kim Dean is a passionate and down-to-earth songwriter. She calls her lyrics "Music About Life!" Kim Dean sings about everybody's life and what they're going through or might eventually experience at some point.

Kim says, "It's global really--Everybody lives life EVERYWHERE, not just in my city or your city, not just in my state or the other 50 states in the US, not just in my country, but in his and her country too---Music helps us through when things aren't that great. I like that a song can help to ease the pain or help work through some problem just because the lyrics were just what you were thinking or feeling, or maybe some cool, catchy tune with lyrics that may have no real meaning at all, but it just makes you happy, and that song can really pump you up--and if you're not in a good mood, it can put you in a one!"

Kim Dean has many songs that have been written "before her time" so to speak, as a teenager and then young adult. But now, having lived through experiences, she once only wrote about, much of her music has new meaning for her. These songs and new songs from Kim Dean newly released today definitely resonate with her audience now and for many years to come.
